Here’s the thing. This post is not about my novel, it’s about the evil bastard in the above picture. I’m thinking I must be in the Twilight Zone because everybody in my neck of the woods is walking around like it’s no big deal the crap this rancid excuse for a human being is pulling off over there in Europe. It’s like we think we’re not connected to the rest of the world. We have our own concerns. The Inflation and state of the economy…the further adventures of our own goofy former leader…the looming mid-terms….the Florida Hurricane…more goofy former president bullshit…the lingering corona virus…monkey pox…etcetera, etcetera, etcetera…

The Putin war is in the news. But it’s like we’re not taking it seriously enough. I’m no alarmist. I’m the Boomer. But even in my RELAXED state…which is the state I like to occupy the bulk of my day…I can see how this deranged monster is dragging the entire human race down the sink hole of oblivion.

We are all TOAST because a disguised GOBBLIN has his finger on the wipe-out button.

Meanwhile Republicans are howling about the border crisis while Democrats are outraged over the latest bullshit our goofy former President uttered on his truth social network.

Maybe I am in the Twilight Zone.

I must be in the Twilight Zone because everybody is now talking about the use of TACTICAL NUCLEAR WEAPONS, as if it’s no big deal. Like, okay, when the Dirt Bag at the Russian Helm drops the little NUK we will respond with catastrophic force. Like that’s the deal. It’s a quick draw situation.

Am I missing something here? I grew up under the threat of Nuclear Wastelands. I was led to believe that catastrophic force COVERS EVERYBODY AND EVERYTHING.

I was never good in school. Maybe I got it wrong. All this time I’ve been thinking Nuclear War means the end of the Human Race. Could be I wasn’t listening.
